Piedmont Triad Industrial Center

In early 2023, CertaPro Painters of Greensboro started work on painting the exterior of Piedmont Triad Industrial Center (PTIC) in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

The 1.5 million-square-foot building included multiple elevations which created challenges for ensuring the striped color scheme was coherent across all areas. The CertaPro team worked closely with building management to develop more than a dozen renderings to ensure the finished product would meet the owner’s expectations.

The project took took about three and a half months to complete. The CertaPro team also worked around building tenants, some whom had nearly 24-7 operations. The CertaPro team worked closely with these companies to paint during the relatively brief breaks in activity all the while not interfering with tenant company operations. Other challenges included heights in some areas of the building – the highest approximately 100 feet. In the end, the building management team and owner were both very pleased with the result.
