Commercial Painting Case Study
New World Aviation in Allentown, PA - CertaPro Painters® of the Greater Lehigh Valley
The Client:
New World Aviation is an elite provider of aircraft charter, maintenance, and management in the Northeast.
The Client Challenge:
Before New World Aviation contacted us, Valley Wide Signs and Graphics installed new signage and a blue awning on their building. To match these new elements, New World Aviation reached out to us to repaint the existing, dull blue colors on the doors and exterior of the building.
While working on the job site, we had to be mindful of airplane traffic, high winds, and heat. We also had to ensure we could reach the elements on the top of the building.
The CertaPro Painters® Solution:
Our crew followed the shade to apply paint to the metal blue siding to get a consistent finish. To navigate and paint the high areas of the building, we used ladders and a 60-foot boom lift. We also used rollers and a Fine Finish Low Pressure (FFLP) sprayer tip to avoid overspray on cars and airplanes.
Although the client provided us with a Pantone color to match, we still went the extra step and rolled out four different color samples. Out of the options presented, our client chose a blue slightly different from the awning color: Pantone 534C in Sherwin Williams’ Multi-Surface Acrylic, eggshell finish. They were very pleased with the color they chose!
The Success and Result:
Our crew worked on this project from July 29 to Aug. 5. Despite the various challenges faced, our skilled painters delivered a clean, refreshed look to the building while enjoying their surroundings.
New World Aviation was excited to see the final results and has received many compliments on the new appearance from their pilots and clients!
