Commercial Painting Project Completed by CertaPro Painters® of Grand Haven
SUMMARY:
We helped rebrand this commercial space into a hair salon. Before we completed the project, the owners were dealing with old brick siding, doors/windows, and canopies. All of these surfaces received new paint! Our team completed this exterior commercial painting project in March 2021 and it took us 3 days to complete. This project included surface cleaning and preparation to remove loose and lifting wood and brick. The street numbers were stenciled on the upper portion of the brick.
CHALLENGES:
The brick surface was sealed and painted with Sherwin Williams Loxon Self Cleaning elastomeric masonry paint. The wood surfaces were painted with premium Emerald Rain Refresh which is a self-cleaning paint. These products will help keep this old surface protected from wind and rain while maintaining a fresh luster.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT/TECHNIQUES:
Our crews used ladders to access the top of the building front.
After Photos
Before we began the project the paint on the brick and wood was peeling and chipping. Lead paint was also a concern. The exterior was hand scraped and then cleaned with No Rinse cleaner to prepare the surfaces. No high pressure water washing was used.
