Commercial Case Study
Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn, IL
The Preparation
This church asked us to refurbish and repaint the walls along their stage. We took to the task happily, and braved 30 foot heights to deliver an excellent final product to our client. The project involved not only painting, but also removing drywall, installing insulation, and color matching. We completed the project in two days!
The main task was painting the walls along the stage, which also needed drywall replacement. In addition to this, the two doors along the stage had to be removed and the drywall around them had to be replaced on both sides.
The Painting Process
Once the two doors were removed and about 400 square feet of drywall had been replaced, it was time for everything to be painted.
After our team had completed our preparatory steps, the paint we used had to be matched to the color that was already in the room on other surfaces. Once we had chosen the perfect shade, our team took to elevation and began doing what they do best.
While we were working, the stage floor was also being replaced by another company. As a result, we had to
work together so as to avoid getting in each other’s way.
