This February, our team of expert painters was asked by the Gary United Methodist Church to repaint the stage in their gymnasium. We had painted for the administration at the church several times in the past, and they knew that they could count on us for this unique job. While our team was also asked to make touch-ups to the lobby and office in the church, the gym stage was the biggest priority because the church was performing a musical in early March and they needed the stage to be ready several weeks before the musical. This was because the gym stage needed a special “theatre paint” that has a specific black pigment that doesn’t reflect stage lighting. This paint also requires a steady and even hand, as a flat finish is essential to achieving the intended effect. Throughout the job the walls, the entire ceiling, and the pipes running along it needed to be painted black, so we needed to spray everything. This required us to cover everything very carefully. Luckily for the client, our painters are experts in painting, and were more than prepared to execute every step of this project flawlessly!

Take a look at how the project went for yourself below!
