Painting at Orth Drive in Wheaton, IL
This February, our team of professional painters was asked by a client to help them refresh three different bedrooms in their home. Not only did the job involve the repairing and painting of the surfaces in the bedrooms, but it also involved stripping and staining the floors. Luckily for the client, our team has the extensive experience needed to tackle those tasks and put together an excellent final product.
After our estimator had come out and surveyed the home, it was time for the painting process to begin. When our painters arrived on site, the first thing that they did was remove all of the heavy furniture from the rooms as a courtesy to the client. Once all of the furniture in the bedrooms had been safely stowed away elsewhere in the home, our painters began laying our their work site and preparing the home for the painting and staining process. The first step was to strip the floors of their old staining. Once this had been done, our team applied a new coat of staining to the floors. When staining wooden floors, it’s important to give the coating the right amount of time to set properly. With this in mind, our team worked strategically so that they could ensure that they’d deliver a final product with a great appearance. After giving the staining a couple day’s time to set, our painters returned to the work site and began repairing the walls. Since the walls were badly damaged, they began by applying a skim coating to the walls so that they had an even surface to paint on. They then did what they do best, and applied a beautiful new coat of white paint to all of the walls and the ceilings in the bedrooms. After all of the hard work had been completed, our painters returned the furniture that was in these rooms to their original places.
The client was thrilled with the final product on reveal day. Below, you can see for yourself the excellent body of work that our team of professional painters delivered!
