New Construction Full Interior Refresh

Project: CertaPro Painters® of  Georgetown, TX was contacted to give a newly built home’s interior a full repaint, mostly with white paint. Outside of these modern neutrals, the homeowner wanted to add some character and a fresh design to some of their rooms, which would involve installing wallpaper and a faux wood accent wall.

Process: The project began with our painters taking care of all interior doors and door frames with Sherwin-Williams Perfect Greige (SW 6073). The same paint was applied to their kitchen cabinets and to achieve a cohesive, modern work. To ensure a smooth, factor-like finish, all doors, cabinets, and door fronts were professionally sprayed in a carefully prepared designated spray zone. This ensured that the main living areas were protected from any overspray.

Outside of the painting work, we installed homeowner-supplied wallpaper to the laundry room and guest bathroom and a home-owner provided faux wood accent wall to the primary bedroom. Since the home was newly constructed and the walls had not been textured yet, our team was able to seamlessly install both materials.

Result: Overall, this project took us about a week to complete in September 2026. We started on a Tuesday and had agreed with the homeowner to get the project done by Saturday as they wanted to move in as soon as possible, but we had to wait for the interior doors to properly dry, so we finished up our final touches on Monday. Despite the delay in finishing up, our client was extremely happy with the results and have already contacted us to do further projects once they are fully moved in.
