CONDITIONS
When CertaPro Paainters® of Freehold-Hightstown, NJ, was contacted by the residents in Freehold, NJ, we were told that the walls had wallpaper. When we showed up to give an estimate we noticed that the wallpaper was extremely old and faded, we knew our team of professional painters would need to remove the wallpaper carefully and would need to prep the drywall by repairing it prior to painting.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
- Preparation – The wallpaper was hard to remove due to the high walls in the Foyer and the fact that the glue was very old. We had to lightly wet the wallpaper and scrape it off in small pieces.
- Painting – We removed wallpaper in the two-story foyer, hallways, and kitchen, and repaired and primed those surfaces with an oil-based primer. We painted walls, ceilings, and all trim in those rooms and areas, as well as in the Family Room and Game Room.
PROJECT TIMELINE – January 2023. The job took us 8 days with a team of four painters.
