Paddock Club Homes and Real Estate in Marlboro, NJ
by CertaPro Painters® of Freehold, NJ
Challenges
CONDITIONS
We painted the community swimming pools, which had been drained before the project. The cement pools were dirty, and the surfaces were mostly bare concrete – with not much of the previous coating left.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
- Preparation – We power washed the pools, cleaned all surfaces with an acid cleaner (Ramuc Clean & Prep Solution applied with brushes), and thoroughly rinsed off the cleaner with a power washer. After the surfaces had dried, we applied two coats of Ramuc Specialty Pool Coatings DS Water-Based Acrylic, color Dawn Blue. The coating was applied with rollers and brushes.
- Painting – We had to assure that all the acid cleaner was rinsed completely and before it had a chance to dry prior to painting. During the entire project, we had to run hydraulic pumps to avoid seepage of groundwater.
