For Exterior Projects:
IN ORDER TO HELP ENSURE EFFICIENCY, SAFETY, AND SMOOTH PROGRESS FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE WE ARRIVE:
FOLIAGE: If you have bushes that touch the exterior of the house to be painted or stained, please cut them back a minimum of 12 inches. For areas of the home’s surface that are covered in vines, please remove from homes siding surfaces if you want that area painted or stained. Vines that are left attached to the home’s surface will be treated like landscaping.
WINDOWS: Close all windows securely before we arrive for power washing. notify your Job Site Supervisor if you have had water leaks around your windows or doors in the past.
DECKS/PORCHES: Remove all light and fragile items from porch or deck before power washing. The painting crew will move and/or cover heavier furniture items with your permission. We will not power wash a deck or porch unless they’re included in the scope of work being stained and or painted to avoid peeling paint issues.
PETS: Please keep pets out of the working area. If there are special instructions regarding gates, latches, doors or other items concerning pets, please inform your Job Site Supervisor upon arrival.
PROPERTY ACCESS: Access to any parts of the property within the scope of work will be required. Please unlock gates and provide any necessary codes for locks or lockboxes if necessary.
WATER & ELECTRICITY: We will need access to exterior water spigots and electricity. Please inform your Job Site Supervisor where these are located.
PARKING: If there are parking restrictions in your neighborhood, please let us know in advance.
ASSISTANCE: If you are unable to complete any of these preparations, please contact us and we will be happy to help you. Charges may apply.
HOA Permission: If you live in a neighborhood governed by a Home Owners Association, be sure to check the by-laws and comply with any applicable color or work restrictions.
CERTAPRO PAINTERS WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
1. We will move all large patio or porch furniture and group into the center of the patio or yard. Some weight restrictions may apply. Upon completion of the job all furniture will be returned to the patio, deck or porch.
2. All patio or porch furniture that is located close to the work area will be covered in either plastic and/or painters’ drop cloths.
3. We will dispose of all trash, leftover materials, and empty paint cans upon completion of the job. During the job, ladders and various equipment may be required to neatly stored outside at job site.
4. Any leftover siding paint or stain will be left for the customer, if requested. All empty paint or stain cans will be removed from job site.
WALKTHROUGH and PROJECT COMMUNICATION:
To ensure that you are satisfied with the project, the Job Site Supervisor is available during the job to answer your questions and provide daily status updates. The Job Site Supervisor will be your primary point of contact during the project.
1. The Job Site Supervisor will inform you of the expected completion day.
2. The Job Site Supervisor will walk the completed project with you to ensure your satisfaction. Please make arrangements in your schedule to be available for this service. You can also call the Office Production Associate if you need further assistance.
3. After the walkthrough is completed, please sign your copy of the job proposal, and give your payment to the Job Site Supervisor.
