CertaPro Painters® of Northern Colorado has been locally owned and operated since 1998. Current owner, Bob Schneider, has lived in the area since 2011 and acquired the business in 2020. Bob has always been passionate about his community and local business, so when the opportunity arose to purchase the Northern Colorado CertaPro Painters® territory, it seemed like a perfect fit as Bob already owned and operated the Boulder & Longmont CertaPro Painters® franchise and came from a background in private equity, where he evaluated businesses prior to acquisition. Since assuming ownership of CertaPro Painters® of Northern Colorado, Bob has been busy providing residential and commercial painting services to hundreds of homeowners and business owners throughout the region.
The business has grown significantly since 1998 as a result of hard work, superior service, a great team and an unwavering commitment to clients’ satisfaction. According to Bob, “Having been in Northern Colorado for almost 25 years now, our team at CertaPro Painters® have painted thousands of homes and businesses in the area. It’s really rewarding to drive around seeing building after building that we’ve helped to protect and maintain over the years, and they still look great! We love doing our part to keep Colorado beautiful, and we feel especially fortunate to be able to serve our neighbors throughout the NoCo community.”
Being a business owner comes with great rewards and sometimes a few challenges. Bob cites flexibility and his amazing team as the primary rewards, ” Our team is full of amazing people and it’s fun to go to work because of them. Having an atmosphere of transparency that is free from corporate politics where everyone has a growth mindset and resilience, is incredible.” Some of the challenges are in sourcing paint to keep up with demand. “We continue to grow our business, and demand from repeat customers and word of mouth referrals is high, but supply chain issues haven’t made our job easier in terms of finding the right paint product in the right base at the right time. Thankfully, our paint supply partners Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams have been excellent in doing everything they can to support us in a unique time for the paint market.”
Bob has also been passionate about giving back to the community and has supported several charities, two of which are Foothills Gateway and A Precious Child. Foothills Gateway empowers individuals with disabilities to lead lives of their choice. A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations and poverty.
