Seamless Repairs and Stunning Results – A Home Transformation

Project: This residential project was located in a desirable area of Carrollton, TX. The home, with its great floorplan, had been on the market for about a week before the owners contacted us. The home had experienced foundation problems a decade ago, and while the structural issues were addressed, the cosmetic damage to the ceilings and walls was never repaired. Cracks in the ceilings and walls, as well as dated and failing wallpaper in the kitchen and bathrooms, were deterring potential buyers. The homeowners were only receiving lowball offers from investors who planned to renovate the home before relisting it.

Process: Our team began by addressing the main issues in the home. We repaired and textured the extensive cracks on the ceilings and walls caused by the previous foundation problems, ensuring a seamless finish. The dated and peeling wallpaper in the kitchen/nook, primary bathroom, and two hall bathrooms was carefully removed, and the walls were retextured to match the rest of the home. Next, we primed and painted the ceilings and walls throughout the home. To complete the transformation, we prepped, caulked, and painted all the doors and trim. This project required skilled professionals to tackle both the intricate ceiling and wall repairs and the detailed painting work.

Result: The project was completed in December 2024 over the course of 8 days. The repairs and painting made a significant impact on the home’s appearance, eliminating concerns about settling cracks and refreshing its overall aesthetic. The updated look helped the property show much better to potential buyers, increasing its appeal and marketability. This transformation provided the homeowners with confidence to relist their property, knowing it would attract more competitive offers.
