This commercial project took place at Lucid Motors in Plano, TX. Overall, the facility’s surfaces were in fair condition, showing normal wear and tear from daily use. Baseboards and doors had visible marks, and several walls had scuffing where desks and doors made contact. The client needed freshening throughout the space, including painting baseboards, repainting doors, and performing targeted touch-ups on wall areas to restore a clean, polished appearance.

Process:
CertaPro Painters of Lewisville/Flower Mound, TX began by evaluating the worn areas and prepping the surfaces for a smooth and durable finish. The team repainted baseboards and doors and performed spot touch-ups across walls showing scuffs or damage from everyday operations.

One unique challenge involved a specific wall coated with a concrete aggregate base, which required specialized touch-up techniques unlike standard wall paint. Another major challenge was scheduling—our team was only permitted to work within limited timeframes to avoid disrupting daily operations. Working beyond these windows could have led to clients encountering wet paint or restricted areas, so precise planning and coordination were essential.

The project was completed efficiently in just 2 days. Through careful scheduling, specialized techniques, and attention to detail, the refreshed surfaces now reflect the clean, updated showroom.
