Brink’s Inc. Distribution Center Facility

Project: Brink’s Inc. is currently going through a national re-brand and this facility was being used as their pilot facility for the entire country. This facility was definitely in need of a refresh. The concrete block walls in the main entry as well as the cash check-in rooms, main cash areas, and warehouse were outdated, scuffed, and dirty. The metal doors and frames were also peeling and were in need of a fresh coat.

Process: Our team first got to work by power washing the walls to remove any dirt. We also then began scraping the peeling paint off the metal doors and frames. Once the peeling paint was removed it was time to prime the doors with an appropriate metal primer. Once all surfaces were prepped and ready it was time to paint!

One of the challenges of this project was the large amounts of money coming in and out of the facility and the necessary security that comes along with it. Because of this communication and room coordination between our job site supervisor and the on-site point of contact was crucial in getting this project completed in a timely manner. Due to the constant flow of traffic, our team also worked overnights and weekends.

As for special equipment involved in this project, our team had to utilize a scissor lift in the large warehouse to safely and efficiently access the 25ft high walls.

Result: Overall this project took two weeks to complete and the facility was so happy with the results that CertaPro Painters of Lewisville/Flower Mound, TX was chosen for another larger coin distribution facility.
