The Mansions at Hickory Creek

Project: The CertaPro Painters of Lewisville/Flower Mound, TX team was contacted to update the exterior of this 19 two-story apartment building, clubhouse, and pool house. Overall the exterior of this project was in good condition, however it had not been painted since 2013. Our team had to address some dry rot damage in various areas, failing caulk, and the color was beginning to fade.

Process: Our team first got to work by power washing the buildings and once the surfaces were clean we began checking for gaps and cracks and re-caulked as needed. Once the preparations were complete, we got to work painting. The owner decided on a five-toned color scheme for the apartment buildings, clubhouse, and pool house.

One of the biggest challenges of this project was the volume of buildings. It took a lot of coordination to get the project completed in a timely manner. In order to be sure everyone was on the same page our Job Site Supervisor provided daily updates to the complex manager so they could then notify the tenants. The team made sure that the tenants had at least two days’ notice so that they had time to move their belongings and store items from their patios and balconies.

Result: Overall this project took about two months to complete from start to finish. The manager of the complex was highly impressed with the skill and professionalism of the team.
