Located in McLean, Virginia, this commercial office space sought to rejuvenate their interior walls and doors across all areas including offices, common spaces, corridors, and meeting rooms. This was aimed at creating a visually appealing environment for executive management, employees, and customers. The undertaking demanded superior execution to maintain uninterrupted services for staff and visitors. Our team facilitated the business activities by collaborating with the onsite Property Manager(s) to fulfill all tasks within the projected timeline. This ensured that the operations ran seamlessly during and after the execution of the project.
The objective of CertaPro Painters of Fairfax, Prince William, and Northern Virginia was to offer customer service and results that were in alignment with the vision of our management and staff. Our skilled team showcased excellent craftsmanship and technical proficiency to attain the sought-after results, refurbish the surfaces fit for painting, and rejuvenate their shielding properties. We also supplied all necessary supervision, labor, materials and tools to carry out every task included in the project.
About the Project
Condition of Facility:
The Property Management team was keen on revitalizing the existing color palette within the office premise, including the accent walls found in every individual office and shared spaces. CertaPro Painters took it upon themselves to make sure that the wall colors were in line with the management’s vision. This process incorporated a prior color consultation and color match to ascertain the exact shades to be used. Additionally, we managed coordination, communication, safety measures, adequate equipment preparation, and cleanliness. We also made use of superior-quality materials provided by Sherwin Williams.
Our primary objective has always been to deliver outstanding customer service and attain the sought-after results. On completion of the project, our team managed to revamp the allocated surfaces effectively while reinstating their protective capacities.
Project Involvement:
This project involved professional coordination, communication, safety measures, equipment preparation and cleaning, application techniques and processes, and the use of the top rated industrial-grade coatings and materials from Sherwin-Williams.
PRIMER – Sherwin Williams, Multi-Purpose Water Based Acrylic-Alkyd Primer – For repairs to wall surfaces, we will use Multi-Purpose Water Based Acrylic-Alkyd Primer (Spot Prime) to ensure uniform and maximum coverage of the top coat.
Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Zero VOC Acrylic Latex – For all designated walls and columns, we applied 1 coat (COLOR MATCH) of Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Zero VOC Acrylic Latex in an Eggshell Finish.
Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Zero VOC Acrylic Latex – For all designated doors, we applied 1 coat (COLOR MATCH) of Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Zero VOC Acrylic Latex in a Semi-Gloss Finish.
Sherwin Williams, ProMar Ceiling Paint – For all designated ceilings, we applied 1 coat (COLOR MATCH) of Sherwin Williams, ProMar Ceiling Paint in a Flat Finish.
Special Challenges:
The project was completed safely and efficiently. It did require the use of ladders to properly access elevated areas as well as difficult and challenging painting areas. In addition, to properly access offices, common areas, hallways, and conference areas, our Management Team and Job Site Supervisor organized a pre-job walkthrough with On-Site Property Manager in advance of the project to lay out a strategic daily and weekly plan of operations to ensure minimal disruption. Due to the operational hours and regularly scheduled obligations, we coordinated with Property Management to ensure over-night access so as to not disrupt regular business hour operations.
