A Multi-Bank Painting Project
This project was to remove the current Bank Compliance Displays from 74 Bank of America locations across the Northern Virginia and Washington DC areas, then patch and paint the specified walls where they were removed. We then installed new Bank Compliance Displays on the specified wall at each separate bank location.
This project involved a lot of planning and coordination with multiple paint teams for multiple bank locations and we were required to finish all 74 locations within a 2 month period. We also had to closely follow the regulatory installation guidelines to make sure that the new displays were installed at the exact measurements that were provided to us.
About the Project
Condition of Facility:
The Bank of America facilities were all in good condition when we started the project. Once we removed the old displays, there were holes and surface damage on the walls that we needed to repair and paint. We patched all of the holes left from the display removal, spot primed the repairs, and then painted the specified wall corner-to-corner in order to maintain a uniform appearance throughout each facility.
Project Involvement:
This project not only involved removing the old bank compliance displays and repairing & painting the walls, but we also had to install new bank compliance displays at each location. The installations involved very precise regulatory installation guidelines. The dimensions of the display had to be measured to exact specifications for each Bank of America location. We devised an installation template for our paint teams to use to make sure that we were consistent throughout the project.
Special Challenges:
After we removed the old display and installed the new one at each location, we then had to provide a photograph of the completed installation to our client. During the project, we decided to also include photographs of our paint teams showing a level next to the displays to ensure to our client that we were very precise during the installations.
This project did not require any lifts or specialty equipment, but we did have to follow the regulatory installation guidelines exactly. We met with all of our paint teams during the pre-planning phase of the project to demonstrate and review this installation process so that they were able to hit the ground running.

The Results
Overall, this was a very successful project due to the extensive planning before the project began, constant communication and providing updates to our client, and the ability to scale our operations to complete all of the bank installations a month early. Our client was thrilled with our work and has responded that they will be reaching out again with more projects for us in the future.
