United Rentals in Ontario

Pleased with the results of a small but urgent exterior project recently completed by CertaPro Painters of Etobicoke, the Branch Manager for United Rentals Fluid Solutions Ontario followed up with a request for the CertaPro team to complete a basic, but highly impactful interior year-end improvement project.

The interior project consisted of two elements – maintenance and design enhancement. Several walls in the main stairwell and men’s bathroom had become soiled and dim-looking over time, so a basic two-coat repaint of these specific surfaces was requested. Lacking the original colour code, a visual match was made in consultation with the United Rentals team.

With regards to design, the objective was to refresh several offices with a back-wall repaint in the United Rentals corporate colour, a decision which reflected the company’s new tenancy in the facility.

After preparing the surfaces with light degreasing and patching of minor imperfections, the walls in all areas were painted with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint interior latex paint with a satin sheen.

As the project progressed, the Branch Manager’s positive reaction to seeing the newly painted areas, and his satisfaction with CertaPro’s efficiency and quality of work, led him to immediately expand the scope to include additional wall surfaces and offices.

The result for the United Rentals staff has been a quick, cost-effective and uplifting interior improvement, one which brightened and literally “cleaned up” key common areas, while also introducing a cheerful corporate branding element to underscore the small team’s cohesive culture.
