Bin There Dump That

Challenges

This was an early season project and the dumpsters were taken out of service in order to paint. The timing of this project was critical to return them to service. We consulted with our Ricciardi Brothers paint representative for the best product that would accomplish this. We used a special PPG product Aquacron Water-Reducible Alkyd Enamel that allowed us to accomplish this.

CONDITIONS

We were tasked with repainting dumpsters for a dumpster leasing company

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT

• • Preparation – The project involved wire brushing minor rust and masking. The customer pressure washed and degreased the dumpsters before we arrived to make sure the prep was minimal.
  • Painting – This project required a wire brush on an electric grinder and some spray machines.

PROJECT TIMELINE

The project was completed in 2 days and took place in March of 2021.

THE FINAL RESULT

After the project was complete, CertaPro Painters^® of Edison, NJ took photos of the newly painted dumpsters to be used by the company to deliver to customers.
