In the past decade, we saw an overwhelming amount of people gravitating to the all-white kitchen trend. Although this trend had its moment, people started to realize it wasn’t very welcoming and actually comes off quite sterile. If you have an all-white kitchen, don’t worry! All you have to do to keep up with the times is add black accents! However, 2020 will be the year of incorporating more color into our kitchens. Keep reading to find out the kitchen cabinet paint colors for 2020!
Wood – We will be seeing a lot more wood in the upcoming years. The current trend is mixing natural wood with painted cabinets. This works because the wood brings texture while the cabinets bring modernity and a pop of whatever color you choose.
Aside from this trend, we will also be seeing wood cabinets. Again, people are beginning to lean back towards texture.
White Cabinets Paired with Sea Green – Sea green adds the perfect pop of color while also being neutral enough that it won’t clash with other colors. There are so many different ways you can approach the sea green color trend. We personally like the look of it on the walls paired with white cabinets, floors, tiles, and wicker accents.
Black – Black will be everywhere in 2020. All black kitchens are becoming the new all-white kitchen. If this look is too bold for you but you still like it, you can opt for an all-white kitchen with black cabinets.
Blue and Green – Darker shades of blue and green on cabinets will be introduced into many homes this year. It is dark and moody while also bringing nature into the kitchen. These colors are relaxing and comforting.
Bright Colors – Neutral kitchens with bright and bold colored cabinets will be very stylish in the upcoming year. People are even picking several different colors to incorporate into their kitchens. Bright colors paired with natural elements such as wood or glass is a trend you’ll want to get on board with.
