Goldelm at Valencian Apartment Complex
Goldelm at Valencian Painting Project in Kissimmee, FL
Goldelm at Valencian is an apartment complex located in Kissimmee, Florida. CertaPro Painters® of East Orlando were contacted in June 2020 to assist in painting the complex from top to bottom, including doors, railings, and even some bricks.
There are 49 buildings, 3 clubhouses, and a leasing office that are included in the renovation project. CertaPro Painters of East Orlando has completed 3 other projects for the same owners of Goldelm at Valencian and are happy to be working with them again!
CHALLENGES:
Large projects contain their own set of challenges. When performing a commercial project at a residential community, it is important to communicate with residents to clear back patios and other outdoor items to mitigate any damage to personal items.
CHALLENGES:Extra coordination is required in certain cases and this why CertaPro Painters® send flyers to residents to keep them well informed of when their building would be worked on. With consistent communication, CertaPro was able to achieve their project in a timely manner and avoid personal damage.
CONDITIONS:
The structure of the building was in good shape however, the exterior paint was very dirty before starting the project. The paint on the buildings was faded and all different colors. The railings and doors were peeling and scraped up. It was time for this building to receive a makeover and we are happy to be part of the process.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Preparation – Tenants are informed of the project taking place. CertaPro’s team cleans (including power washing) and prepares the building for the next step of applying a finish.
- Painting – The exterior of the complex is painted and the CertaPro team makes sure the area is cleaned after finishing specified sections.
PROJECT TIMELINE – Approx. 6 months

Before the project began, CertaPro’s professionals acquired a picture of the Goldelm complex to document its state before it is fully renovated.
PAINTING GOLDELM AT VALENCIAN
Goldelm is receiving a full exterior face lift to raise the appeal of the complex and providing it with a new modern look.
THE FINAL RESULT
Goldelm received an all-encompassing exterior repaint at the end of 2020. Efforts will be ongoing, as CertaPro has already started completing sections of the Valencian complex.
