Exterior Renovation for Historic Home in Fisher
Our team of professional painters were recently called out to this lovely Historic residence in the Fisher community. The homeowners wanted to refresh the entire exterior. As you may know, restoring an older home can come with a few extra challenges. However, that was no match for our experienced contractors. The end result was a vibrant new exterior for this Historic property. You can learn more about this project below.
About the Project
This local home was in need of a few residential painting services. Our team of painting contractors were able to bring this historic home back to life through our paint shaving and exterior painting services. While an entire exterior update may seem daunting, when you work with the right team of experts, it’s more than worth it.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
We completely renovated the entire exterior of this home in Fisher. When you repaint a Historic property, you will need to have your exterior paint stripped. Depending on the method that your painter uses, this can be quite time consuming. Luckily, CertaPro Painters® of Eastern Monmouth stay up to date with the latest paint stripping tools in the industry. We prefer to utilize a paint shaver to easily and safely remove your old coats of exterior paint. Once this has been done, our painters can begin to repair, prime, and paint the exterior of your home. This is exactly what we did for this home in Fisher. Paint shaving is one of the few ways you can ensure that the exterior of your home is super smooth prior to having your new paint applied.
SPECIAL CHALLENGES:
We had to utilize a wide variety of painting tools to get this job done effectively and efficiently. Our painters also had to use tall ladders to reach some parts of the home.
It is also important to note that when you work on an older home, you need to make sure that the paint your are removing is lead free. If not, even more additional safety protocols will be needed before finishing your residential painting project.
