In May of 2026, CertaPro Painters® completed a full interior and exterior painting project for new homeowners who had just closed on an older home and wanted to make it feel fresh, clean, and move-in ready. The previous painting was dated throughout, and the homeowners wanted a fresh coat of paint on nearly every square inch of the property, from the exterior siding and trim to the interior walls, doors, trim, cabinets, stairwell railing, garage floor, and backyard shed.
The exterior siding was faded and dirty with some areas of peeling paint, so our team properly prepared the surfaces before painting all siding and trim on the home and detached shed. The body of the home was painted Sherwin-Williams SW7563 Restful White, while the trim was painted Sherwin-Williams SW6258 Tricorn Black for a clean, updated contrast. We also power-washed and re-stained the back deck to refresh the outdoor space and give the homeowners a more welcoming area to enjoy.
Inside the home, the new owners were not fans of the existing oak trim, doors, cabinets, and stairwell railing system. Our team converted the kitchen cabinets, interior doors, trim throughout all three stories of the home, and railing system from wood to paint. This process included caulking trim and frames where they met the walls, priming, and painting each surface. We sprayed the trim, doors, cabinets, and railing system to create a smooth, flawless finish, while carefully protecting all flooring and surrounding areas with plastic to prevent overspray.
We also painted all walls throughout the three-story home after repairing drywall damage to create a clean, even surface. The walls were painted Benjamin Moore Mineral Ice 2132-70, while the trim, cabinets, and doors were finished in Sherwin-Williams SW7006 Extra White. In the garage, the existing epoxy coating was failing, so our team ground the floor to remove the old coating, filled cracks, applied a polyaspartic base coating, added broadcast flake coverage, and finished with a polyaspartic top coat.
The homeowners wanted the work completed as soon as possible so they could move in and start enjoying their new home. Our team completed the residential project in May 2026 in just 12 days, transforming the dated property into a bright, updated, and welcoming home from top to bottom.
