Commercial Painting

Denver Commercial Painting Spotlight

Posted on January 28, 2021

Commercial Painting is often more complex than residential painting for a number of key reasons. For starters, many businesses have a larger footprint than a typical home, which increases the scope of a project and affects the timeline, the amount of materials needed and the pre-planning required. In addition, businesses may request that painting occur during specific hours so they can continue to serve their customers throughout the renovation process. Some businesses also have machinery or equipment that needs to be worked around. Lastly, some businesses require special materials and procedures to adhere to standards within their industry. CertaPro Painters® of Denver has been painting businesses and commercial facilities for over a decade, and we have become Denver’s experts at rejuvenating businesses while navigating the intricacies of working in a commercial space. Here is a small sample of some of the commercial painting projects we’ve completed in the Denver area.

Church
In 2019, CertaPro Painters® of Denver was selected to paint a 92,000 sq.ft church which was newly constructed. With new construction, proper prep work, including cleaning, taping and priming is essential so that paint adheres properly and looks its best. For this project we used a laser to ensure clean lines for an intricate design in one room. You can read more about the project here.

Interior after painting

Delta Plaza Commercial Office
The management team at Delta Plaza turned to CertaPro Painters® of Denver to transform this three story office complex. The original white paint had weathered to a washed out gray and the building suffered from peeling paint and some water damage. After preparing the exterior by power washing, we used a combination of a scissor lift and ladders to tape many windows, prime the exterior with a product called Styx and restore the building’s fresh look using Benjamin Moore’s Ice Cube – Ultra Spec 500. For the finished paint, we used a color called Ice Cube, Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec 500. Styx primer Benjamin Moore was used on the peeling areas.

Hilton Hotel
The Hilton Hotel in Downtown Denver was a large-scale interior painting project that required thorough pre-planning and continual communication throughout the painting process. CertaPro Painters® of Denver were chosen by Hilton’s management team due to our strong track record, detailed estimate and guarantee on our work.
