Commercial Office Building Painting Project in Denver, CO
Delta Plaza
Delta Plaza is an office building located in Denver, Colorado that has several tenants. It is 3 stories building. Approximately 20,000 of the square footage was painted. The surface of the building was smooth and it looked similar to metal but it was a smooth wood siding. There were many windows that had to be taped prepped. The rear of the building was very difficult to get to and we were unable to get a lift back there. Ladders were used for the rear of the building. The reason for painting was to freshen up the look. We used a color called Ice Cube, Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec 500\. Styx primer Benjamin Moore was used in the peeling areas.
Our expert CertaPro team was called to get these colors back to a standard uniform color. The team worked tirelessly to repair and correct deficiencies from wear and tear.

CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:Our crew needed to use a scissor lift for most of the building due to its height. We also used ladders on the backside of the building where a lift could not be used. We did caulk some expansion joints, scraped, and primed peeling areas.
CONDITIONS:
The building was in good condition except there was some peeling paint at the bottom areas from water damage. The color of the building was originally a bright white that had become more of washout gray over time. Power washing no longer helped maintain the quality it once used to have. We were able to use a very nice white color called Ice Cube and brighten it up. We were able to scrape and prime the peeling painted areas and used a product called Styx primer to cover these areas. The building was given a fresh new look.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Painting of the exterior building.
- Clean up of the exterior wall paint.
- Power washing services.
