Church Paint Update Project
CertaPro Painters® of Denver, CO
Commercial Building Painting Project in Denver, CO
First Baptist Church in Englewood, CO.
In September 2024, a three-week paint project took place at First Baptist Church in Englewood, CO. The project involved painting the church building, its 85-foot steeple, and an adjacent annex/office building, covering both wood and metal surfaces.
CHALLENGES:
Special equipment, including a 120-foot boom lift and a 40-foot scissor lift, was required. One challenge was working around a live power line in the alley behind the church, which was successfully navigated with the help of Xcel Energy.
CONDITIONS:
All areas included in the project had worn, peeling paint. The metal surfaces, especially the steeple, required a substantial amount of prep-work. Soffits required carpentry repairs, including wood replacement.
