Commercial Pipe Painting
a Case Study by CertaPro Painters of Dayton, OH
Commercial Pipe Painting
This project took place at the Division of Water Reclamation for the City of Dayton. We were tasked with prepping rusty piping. We had to use specialized materials to complete this project to ensure the pipes are protected from rusting again.

Very professional, polite, great quality and very timely with completing project! We will absolutely call them for our next project.

About the Project:
The Facility:
We painted: The pipes outside of the Division of Water Reclamation for the City of Dayton
Condition:
The pipes were rusty and located in a secured area. These pipes are in the open air on the exterior of the building leaving them exposed to the elements.
Project Involvement:
We needed to prep the pipes, and provide lasting protection against the Ohio climate. We were able to accomplish this by utilizing a three step system that involved rust inherited primers and and epoxy top coat.
Special Challenges:
This area is secured and not accessible to the public. We also had to have a three day window to allow all of the products to properly cure before implementing additional coating.
