SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
Before the work began, the units of this facility were outdated and damaged. The eight-story building, consisting of 192 one- and two-bedroom units, required extensive updates to modernize its interior. The units were occupied during this project – so our team had to come up with a plan and work efficiently to stick to it. Over the course of four months, the project focused on heavy drywall repairs, along with painting walls, trim, and doors to revitalize the living spaces.
CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:
One of the biggest challenges was maintaining a strict schedule while working in occupied units. To minimize disruptions for residents, the team worked between 8 AM and 4 PM, ensuring that three units were completed each day. By the end of each workday, every unit had to be fully livable again, requiring precise coordination and efficiency.
Despite these challenges, the project was successfully completed on time, transforming the outdated interiors into refreshed, comfortable spaces for residents. The combination of careful planning, skilled craftsmanship, and efficient execution ensured a high-quality finish while respecting the daily routines of those living in the facility.
