Ty was born and raised in Sunbury, Ohio, where he attended Big Walnut High School. During his tenure, he lettered in basketball, baseball and golf. Ty won the State Championship in golf his senior year before accepting an offer to play at Otterbein College. He played four years of varsity golf for the Cardinals, while receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management/Business Management.
After college, Ty spent three years as a golf professional. In 2010, he then decided to take a different direction after accepting a position as a traveling manager in the sales industry. Ty has since been brought in to join Capital Contracting & CertaPro Painters. He brings his veteran experience in Business to Business/long-term relationship building to the team, where he now heads up their Business Development.
Ty currently resides in Powell, Ohio with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he still enjoys to golf as well as spend time with family and friends. Ty also is a diehard Buckeyes fan and refuses to miss any Ohio State football game. GO BUCKS!
