Industrial Project in Marysville
Moriroku Technology North America is a 41,000 square foot headquarters for research and development in Marysville, OH. The four-year-old building had already started to show signs of fading paint, failing expansion joints, and open caulking. CertaPro Painters® of Columbus, OH was contacted to repaint and repair the facility’s exterior in August 2019.
CertaPro’s professionals pieced together a plan to efficiently complete the project with a detailed and smooth application. A boom lift was used for the high and hard-to-reach areas so that they matched the painting efforts in the sections closer to ground. The team also scraped an abundance of expansion joints, recaulking 200 of them to ensure the long-lasting protection.

Before the project began, CertaPro Painters® took pictures of the Moriroku exterior to note the areas that would require their attention. This would also give an indicator into how excessive some of the fading was, along with the extent of disrepair in the expansion joints.
THE FINAL RESULT
After the project was completed CertaPro Painters® gathered images of the new look exterior. Moriroku Technology’s headquarters was transformed into a building with bright-white and deep-blue refinished walls and functional expansion joints, adding a wonderful new feel for the administration and staff.
