Retail Project in Zanesville, OH

CertaPro Painters^® of Columbus, OH was contacted in April 2019 to help refine the look of Colony Square Shopping Center in Zanesville, OH. The 125,000+ square foot complex was due for a full repaint and update. Peeling roof paint, delaminated wood, and rusted light posts were culprits in the dilapidation of the location’s exterior. The planning consisted of color renderings and pre-project details with the owners of the property.

A wide array of substrates and materials required attention. From stucco, brick, block and metal, to trimming, signage, and railing, the Lebanon location was thoroughly worked by CertaPros professionals. Light posts and waste areas were also updated to match the refinishing efforts to the rest of the shopping center.

Projects of this size create their own unique set of hurdles. Coordination among the team and communication with the center’s administration were paramount to finish tasks efficiently. Proper equipment was also a necessity, particularly a boom lift used to refinish the high and hard-to-reach areas.

Before the project began, CertaPro Painters^® took pictures of the worn sections of the shopping center. Colony Square’s exterior presented issues with peeling paint, delamination, and rusting.

THE FINAL RESULT

When all tasks were completed, CertaPro’s professionals surveyed the area and took pictures of the improvements. The exterior received fresh coats of paint and primer, providing a beautiful new look and long-lasting protection against the elements.
