CertaPro Painters® of Columbus, GA and Auburn, AL has been locally owned and operated since 2013. Franchise owner, Brendan Anderson, acquired the business in 2020 with the help of his extensive background in Corporate Marketing and business management. Brendan Anderson had worked 25+ years in corporate marketing and with his skills and knowledge has cultivated one of the top-rated painting companies in the local area of his current hometown, Columbus, GA. Brendan was introduced to CertaPro Painters where he found a great opportunity to use his skills to create a local brand at a national level, which he sought as the perfect fit for him. Brendan’s favorite aspect about being a business owner is working with local customers on a daily basis, providing them with great service and promising house and commercial painting results. According to Brendan, “I love driving through our Georgia and Alabama communities and seeing the homes and businesses that we painted and knowing that we are making a positive change for customers by providing them with high quality paint jobs that will last for years”.

The biggest challenge that comes with owning a painting company has been the weather. If the weather is too hot, too cold, too hazardous, or rainy, it can affect the application of paint, which makes it challenging to work on exterior painting projects. Seasonality has been the biggest challenge, but Brendan strives to accommodate all his customers and makes sure their house painting project is successfully completed within a reasonable timeline, and with the best results!

Brendan has also been passionate about giving back to his community, particularly in supporting fundraisers for Children at Risk and breast cancer research. Brendan has partnered with several fundraisers in the past, such as BCRF and the Jason Dufner Foundation.
