Get to Know Co-Owner of CertaPro Painters® of Charlottesville: Kim Benson!
Kim grew up in South Florida and went to college there to study Interior Design. She loved the colors, fabrics, drawings, and making it all come together and worked in this field for a few years before stopping to raise a family. Once back in the work field Kim found Certapro Painters® and has been with CertaPro Painters® for over a decade now, starting out as the Color Consultant then moved into being the Residential Sales Rep and now as owner of the Charlottesville franchise with her husband.
Kim has been married for 31 years to her husband Eric and has 2 grown boys, Kyle and Alex, and two cats. She moved to Charlottesville 17 years ago from South Florida and have grown to love this beautiful area and the tight knit community.
Now empty nesters, Kim enjoys traveling, gardening, yoga, enjoying the wineries and breweries with friends, pickleball, live music and tubing down the Rivanna each summer!
Kim understands painting is a very personal decision. As a Residential Sales Manager, Kim and/or her team meets with you in your home, evaluates your painting needs, schedules the job with one of our professional crews, and then runs the job until its completion. This process allows her to meet so many wonderful people in our community and make not only new clients but new friends.
Hobbies:
Gardening, Yoga, Hiking (aka walking in nature on mostly flat trails 🙂), Going to movies and spending time w/ my family and friends.
