2025 Wordplay Trivia Fundraiser

CertaPro of Charlottesville Takes 2nd Place at 2025 Wordplay Trivia Fundraiser!

Last week, the CertaPro Painters of Charlottesville team was proud to take part in WORDPLAY, Charlottesville’s premier live trivia competition and annual fundraiser for Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle (LVCA). Held at the beautiful and historic Paramount Theater, the evening brought together 48 teams for a fast-paced night of trivia, community spirit, and support for a vital local cause.

Our team—cleverly named “Paint It Read”—had a blast putting our brainpower to the test and was thrilled to finish 2nd overall out of 48 teams!

Wordplay isn’t just a fun night out—it supports the meaningful mission of Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle, an independent nonprofit that provides free, confidential, one-to-one tutoring in English and U.S. citizenship. Their work is centered on equity, inclusion, and empowering adults in our community through literacy.
