Deck Ceiling Case Study

The Task:

In January of 2024, a commercial client in the Houston Area recently contacted CertaPro Painters of Central & Northeast Houston regarding a painting project for their warehouse space. The client was looking to paint a deck ceiling that covered a massive 50,000-square-foot area. We were more than happy to put our expert professional painting team to the test for such a big project!

The Work:

CertaPro Painters of Central & Northeast Houston began working on this project in January 2024. For this job, we had to carry out multiple services to ensure the quality of work matched our expectations including pressure washing, power sanding, full priming, and double coating. There were challenges our team faced while completing this task, one being that the warehouses were brand new, and the client asked us to leave them untouched. the other issue was that there was severe rusting in parts of the deck ceiling that needed to be addressed before we could begin the painting process. After pressure washing the ceiling, we were able to begin treating rusting areas of the space ceiling by power sanding affected areas. once everything was prepped, we began spraying primer and paint. Once completed, we applied primer and top coats of top-of-the-line heavy industrial coating to ensure the longevity of the paintwork. With the ceiling completed, we were able to focus on cleaning & polishing the concrete floors of the warehouse to ensure we met the client’s demands.

Final Results:

After two weeks of working, our team completed the project to the client’s satisfaction with no major delays or setbacks. The finished product is a testament to our experienced painters’ hard work and skill set. Please view images from this project below!
