COVID-19 Updates & Procedures

The current situation surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak as it pertains to our business operations is fluid. As things change, sometimes by the hour, it seems like, our procedures will be changing.

To protect the health of our customers as well as our employees and contractors CertaPro Painters of Central and Lower Bucks County will be taking extreme precautions when providing painting project estimates for both interior and exterior work according to these protocols…

Estimates:

Exterior estimates will be conducted by one team member from our office around the outside of the house, with no need for direct physical interaction with home owner.  If the home owner were available by phone during this time, it would be greatly helpful.

Interior estimates will be conducted in one of two ways. Our first choice is virtual estimates. The home owner will send our team photos and dimensions of the painting project. We will then use Facetime to walk through the project and answer any questions to help us build accurate proposals. The second option for interior estimates would be our team coming into the home without the home owner present. The home owner may let us in, but we would prefer not be in the same room with them to respect the guidelines of social distancing. If we are doing interior estimates where we are in the same house, we prefer to protect our older generation. Therefore, we are currently not offering in-person estimates for home owners in households with residents who are older than 65.

Production:

• • We will keep crew size to a minimum, typically between 1-4 people, based on the constraints of the job (ladders need 2 people, time allowed for a job to finish, etc).
  • All crew members are required to fill out a CDC screening survey daily.
  • We ask that our customers, who will be on site during the project, fill out the survey as well. We will provide them with a link.
  • After our crew has inspected the work, customers will inspect the job on their own while the crew is not present.
  • For payment via check, please place the check in an envelope. For payment via credit card, please call your salesperson who will take your information.

General:

We will be practicing the CDC recommended behaviors to keep everyone safe. Our team members are required to…

  • Stay home when showing any possible COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Wash/sanitize hands often.
  • Avoid touching their face.
  • Cover their mouth and nose.
