Scope of the Project:
The project involved a full exterior repaint of a shopping center, including the metal soffits above the storefronts. Painting these high-visibility areas required careful planning and attention to detail to ensure a clean, professional finish that complemented the branding of the businesses.
Challenges and Solutions:
One of the major challenges was coordinating with the building owner, who was located out of state and experiencing different weather conditions. This occasionally led to differing expectations around workable days on site. On top of that, freezing temperatures and unpredictable weather patterns delayed progress and required the crew to remain flexible and responsive.
Another logistical hurdle was the lack of an exterior water supply at the property. To properly prepare the building’s surface, the team rented an external water tank to complete the necessary power washing before painting could begin. Despite the delays and equipment challenges, the project was completed successfully, resulting in a refreshed and cohesive exterior that enhanced the shopping center’s curb appeal and visibility.
