Popular Exterior Paint Colors for 2021

At CertaPro Painters® of DeSoto, we have painted countless exteriors. We love seeing homeowners reactions when they see their freshly painted house for the first time. It really does give the feeling of having a brand new home. If you are looking to change up the paint on the exterior of your home, check out some of the most popular paint colors for 2021.
Warm White – A warm white exterior will never go out of style. We typically recommend avoiding stark whites, so you want to make sure you are picking a white paint that is more creamy and has warm undertones. This type of white will work well on any exterior. We particularly love this when paired with dark brown wood accents.
Green and Blue Accents – This trend is becoming increasingly popular. People tend to opt for this option when they are looking for a pop of color but aren’t ready to coat their whole house in it. These colors work well because there are so many different shades, you are sure to find one that suits the paint color on the exterior of your home.
Bronze- We haven’t seen too much of this one yet, however we think it’s worth noting because it seems to be picking up popularity. This color is typically used on more modern homes that have metal accents. If this sounds like your home, we recommend trying it out!
Two-Tone- This one isn’t exactly a color but it is a growing paint trend. A lot of home owners are using two different color on their exteriors. We have seen this done more dramatically with tan and black or more subtly with two different shades of the same color. When done right, this looks beautiful and brings uniqueness to the home.
Blue – Blue shades are always one of the most popular paint colors. We are seeing more of an increase in demand for midnight blue over the more often seen slate blues.
