Backstory

In this case study, we recap a commercial painting project for the Herbert C. Young Community Center in Cary, NC. We specifically focused on revamping the Coach Kay Yow Court. We detail the steps from this interior painting project below.

The community center was built in 1991 and was the first facility of its kind in the town.

What did the project involve, and what was the condition of the facility/surfaces at the time the work began?

The town of Cary called us to paint the interior gymnasium walls and supports.

When did the project take place, and how long did it take from start to finish?

3 days.

Were there any special challenges involved in the project, and did the project require and special equipment or techniques?

We needed to use a strong paint that will hold up to the heavy use that the gymnasium receives on a daily basis.
