CertaPro Painters® of Carlsbad, CA was contacted in July 2022 to paint portions of the exterior parking structure for Wally Park Airport. Our team of commercial painters was specifically asked to paint the red portions of the building. These parts of the building were very badly faded. All of the substrates were concrete previously painted CMUs (concrete masonry units).
The rear of the building was especially challenging, as it has essentially a zero lot line with the Mass Transit System. Our team utilized a swing stage in order to paint this. The process required permits and some heavy lifting with the respected governmental agencies. In all, the project took 10 days to complete.

There were many areas of the facility that had faded red paint that was uneven and needed some refreshing.

Some areas had to be reached with special equipment, such as this wall. We utilized a swing stage to get the job done.

The red had faded across the building premises, from the fron to the parking structures in the back.
