During this very challenging time, we are all trying to figure out how to function in a world of social distancing, gloves, masks, and teleconferences. Many of us are feeling alone, isolated, frustrated, and bored. While others are feeling too close—multiple folks working from home, kids out of school, everyone on top of each other! Crazy, crazy times.
So, it might seem that the last thing you’d want to think about is painting your house. But this might be the perfect opportunity to consider an upgrade! Now that you’re home more often, you may be looking at your house more closely than you have in years. Maybe those little imperfections that you noticed last fall are starting to get to you now. Now could be the time to take a serious look at fixing and refreshing your house.
You’re probably wondering how you can get a detailed, accurate painting estimate these days. That’s where we come in! We have developed procedures that will make our visit completely safe and non-intrusive for you and our sales reps.
Here’s our process on how to schedule a house painting estimate during the coronavirus crisis:
- We’ll speak with you on the phone to find out exactly what you would like to paint—the scope of the project.
- We’ll visit your house in-person to measure everything and to ascertain any issues related to prep and/or carpentry. If you are home, we will always maintain appropriate social distancing.*
- We’ll call you again after the initial visit if we have any questions, and then we’ll prepare our proposal, which is sent to you via e-mail.
- We’ll follow up—again by phone—to make sure you have received the proposal and to answer any questions you may have.
- We’ll be delighted to schedule your painting project at a time that works for you. While working on your project, our crews will follow all mandated and suggested safety procedures while on your property.
- We’ll speak with you on the phone to find out exactly what you would like to paint—the scope of the project.
We are here for you every step of the way. When you are ready, we will safely help you maintain and refresh your Cape house!
The procedures above are primarily applicable to exterior painting estimates. However, we can also conduct interior estimates by adding more safety measures relating to masks, gloves, and social distancing.
