Commercial Case Study
Falmouth Nursing Home Exterior
The Problem to be Solved:
In June of 2025, we were contracted to update the whole exterior of a nursing home in Falmouth, MA. The building needed a lot of work, including stucco repair, carpentry, washing, and a completely new color.
The Challenges:
Because of the scale of the project, we used a 75-foot boom lift to access all levels of the exterior. We had to paint during the normal operating hours of the nursing home, and because of the small parking lot, we had to coordinate with staff to avoid disrupting deliveries that were being made throughout the project. We also had to drive the lift up a steep, grassy incline to access certain areas of the building.
Our Solution:
We started by washing the exterior with 30 Seconds Outdoor cleaner to remove any dirt, salt, and mold. Next we repaired cracks and damaged areas of crumbling stucco. Some of the wood was rotten and needed to be replaced, and the customer wanted to use Azek (PVC wood or plastic-like wood). Also upon the customer’s request, the new paint color would be a salmon pink to replace the old yellow color.
The Final Result:
After just 3 weeks of work from start to finish, our team had both repaired, replaced, and completely repainted the exterior of the nursing home facility to the customer’s satisfaction. The result is an updated building with a fresh new look!
