Residential Case Study
Prior Lake, MN Kitchen Cabinet Painting
Initial Condition
The kitchen island and cabinets were in near perfect condition before we started painting. Our customers simply wanted to refresh the look of their kitchen.
Scope of Work
- Prep the painting surface through sanding
- Paint the kitchen island cabinets and drawers through spraying
- Use a dust extractor to remove dust from the kitchen as we worked
Challenges and Solutions
The main challenge facing us with this project was creating dust from our work. Our customers were extremely sensitive to dust, so we had to minimize its creation and spread throughout their home as much as possible while we prepped and painted their cabinets. During the prep and painting process, we regularly used a dust extractor to remove dust from the kitchen.
Conclusion
Overall, the entire project took 3 days to complete in October 2023. The new reddish brown coat of paint breathed new life into their kitchen island while keeping it protected from regular kitchen use for years to come. You can check out the photos from this project below!
