October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to show support for those who have been affected by this disease and to raise funds for research, prevention, and support services. CertaPro Painters® of South Metro is proud to announce its participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event of the Twin Cities. CertaPro Painters of South Metro is partnering with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to raise funds for local cancer patients and survivors. Your support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those battling this disease. You can contribute by rounding up your final bill or by reaching out to Rory McCabe ([email protected]) to donate on your behalf.
What You Need to Know:
The event isn’t just a walk; it’s a movement that aims to make a real impact. We believe in a future free from breast cancer, and we urge you to join us in this crucial cause. Here’s what you need to know about the event and how you can participate:
Registration/Donations:
There is no registration fee, and all participants must register for the walk.
Children’s registration is appreciated but not necessary.
Registration can be done online or on-site using the provided QR codes.
Event t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
You can make a donation online or by mailing your contribution to the provided address.
Event Logistics:
Parking is available at the EAST Parking Ramp at the Mall of America.
Participants can also take the Light Rail to the event venue.
Restrooms are conveniently located throughout the mall.
The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions, as it is hosted indoors.
While service dogs are allowed, other pets are not permitted at the venue.
Additional Event Highlights:
A special opening ceremony hosted by Alex Jokich from KSTP.
Engaging activities and merchandise available at various court locations within the Mall.
The event will conclude with a closing ceremony at 9:00 AM.
