The Murano Building Commercial Painting Project

The problem to be solved:

The Murano building in Philadelphia had eight floors of hallways that had to be re-drywalled and painted without closing down the hallways and keeping it clean. They just had new carpets put down in the hallways, and tenants were upset about the water damage in the hallways.

Problem solver solution:

What we had to do was talk with the building and ask when the building was not as occupied for work to be done. What we wanted to do is work around when people were mostly at work and before they came back to their homes. Talking with the building and setting up the crew to understand the timeframe was key to our success. We had to make sure at the end of day that walk ways were left open, and clean.

Final Result:

We were able to get all 8 hallways back to normal as if the damage never happened. In the end, we were successful in managing what times to work and making sure we were gone before people started to come home at rush hours. The most important thing here was communication with the building management and our crews.
