Commercial Painting Project at Penns Landing Heliport in Philadelphia

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: 

If you have ever driven down Columbus Blvd. in South Philly, you’ve likely seen that brilliant sky mural heliport building right on the Delaware River. After 25 years, it was time for a much-needed makeover as the paint was peeling off and the mural was very faded. Our team was contacted to give the heliport an exterior refresh.

PROJECT SOLVER SOLUTION:

This project began in May of 2023. We began with a full power wash of the building. The project also involved paint scraping, tricky application on corrugated metal, and the stenciling of large letters and numbers. Our team also had to account for the fact that the north and east side locations were very close to the Delaware River, as well as work around power lines and trees.

FINAL RESULT:

The project was completed over a three week period and the results as seen in the below photos speak for themselves!
