Painting Project at Abington Memorial Hospital
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED:
Abington Memorial Hospital, located in Abington, is a 665-bed hospital that provides comprehensive care for people in Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties. With more than 4,500 employees, Abington is one of the largest employers in Montgomery County.
CertaPro Painters of the Main Line was contacted by Abington Memorial Hospital in summer 2019 to refresh some offices and professional spaces in the building. Many walls had old wallpaper and/or looked very dated from not having been painted in years.
PROJECT SOLVER SOLUTION:
We coordinated with the hospital to ensure our crews would not disrupt the employees working in the offices. We removed wallpaper throughout the space, and then primed and painted the walls.
FINAL RESULT:
The project was able to be completed with minimal impact to busy daily hospital operations over a two week period. Communication and finding solutions along the way while meeting timelines were key to our success.
