Project Overview

A local music school in Natick needed a space that matched the energy of its students but instead, its rehearsal rooms featured dark gray walls, peeling paint, and leftover glue and brackets from previously mounted sound panels. The goal was to revitalize the space while maintaining its acoustic function and brand identity.

Wall Repair & Surface Prep

The project began with removing all existing panels, along with brackets and adhesive. Once the surfaces were cleared, the team patched holes and cracks to restore the walls. After repairs, all areas were primed to prepare for a long-lasting finish.

Accent Wall Painting

To add energy and align with the brand of the school, select walls were painted in a vibrant red to serve as accent features. The remaining walls were finished in a clean, neutral tone to balance the bold color and brighten the overall space.

Panel Reinstallation & Carpentry

After painting, the acoustic panels were reinstalled using spacers to create a cleaner, more intentional layout. Light carpentry was also completed to ensure all panels were securely and evenly mounted across the rehearsal rooms.

The Final Result

In just two days, the rehearsal space was transformed from dark and damaged to clean, bold, and performance-ready. The updated layout, fresh color, and smoother wall surfaces created a more inspiring and professional environment—delivered with precision and care by CertaPro Painters® of Boston, MA.
