Lacho was born in Chiquimula, Guatemala, where he learned how to build homes as a child while accompanying his father, who was in the construction business. He gravitated towards painting because it was cleaner and lighter work. He spent 6 years in Fairfax County painting decks on the trailers that school systems euphemistically call “Learning Cottages.” A few years ago, he dove right into his first job with CertaPro Painters, painting 120 town homes, quickly earning a leadership position.
Lacho enjoys driving to the country to play soccer with friends, and also going fishing on the Potomac. His favorite food is Chinese, which often substitutes for an uneventful fishing trip.
