Oil Changer Service Center
This project involved repainting 20 separate oil changers at Oil and Lube Service Centers across the state of Texas. Our team prioritizes the Austin area, but if an organization requests for us to perform work in other cities, we will rise to the occasion! Due to the size of this commercial painting project, it took six months for our team to complete it. Our team was tasked to clean these bays free of dirt and grime to prep the surface for a repaint. Our CertaPro Painters applied primers and new coats of Pro Industrial Alkyd-Urethan-Gloss paint. This was also applied to the walls, metal railings, and doors.
CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:Large commercial projects provide their own set of challenges. For this project, our CertaPro Painters had clean oil residue from surfaces and if you know oil, it’s very difficult to clean. If not cleaned thoroughly, the new paint coatings would not adhere properly due to the viscosity and molecular structure of both materials.
CONDITIONS:
- Dirt – This facility had to be cleaned of oil residue and grime before painting.
- Surface Prep – Old Paint had to scrapped away in order to apply a new fresh coat of paint on an even surface.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Sheetrock Installation – We needed to install new sheetrock, after discovering that many of the walls did not have sheetrock installed.
- Paint Services – Interior and exterior paintwork.
- Quality Industrial Paint – High-quality Industrial Alkyd-Urethane-Gloss paint
